Silica with immobilized polyoxyethyleneisooctylphenol (SiO₂–TX) was investigated as an adsorbent for solid phase extraction of bovine serum albumin (BSA). It was shown that efficient BSA extraction (up to 96%) takes place on SiO₂–TX from water solution in the form of its ionic associates with cationic (at рН = 8) and anionic (at рН = 1.5) surfactants.
